I didn't want to hijack the other Busse threads to turn them into picture threads, so i'll just start this one...

I only have my Stealheart and Mean Street left ( I think it's a mean street, I haven't seen it in years), but I had all of these before selling them to buy motorcycles...

    The Busse I still have...

SUPER jealous of the HOG muk, I'd love to get my hands on one of those. I may have to hit the exchange on BF.

Sweet color combo, you have great taste!

That is a good looking knife. I'd be afraid to use it, which is one reason I sold all my Busse knives except my Stealheart and Mean Street.

All nice things are that way, but to truly appreciate them for what makes them nice, you must use them.

Busses look great in the safe, but you'd never know how well INFI takes and holds and edge if you only looked at them.

I understand keeping nice things nice and taking great care of expensive investments (especially gear), but if you don't use it, there's not much of a point in owning something. :twocents:

Not trying to hijack, but I don't agree.

If someone collects Civil War sabres?
    Coin collectors buying gum?
What about the collector of old, often times, unsafe to fire flinlock rifles?

Busses, Randalls, and many others, are made for hard use.
It's like good 4x4 pickups. Some like to use em, some like em pretty.

I understand the concept for "you", but sometimes the point is in the pleasure of the research, search for, and acquiring the item.

    Not bashing, stating a concept.

Now, back to the cool photos...

    Regards

I suppose I should clarify my point a bit. Collecting is one thing, I myself have a few busses that are "safe queens". I will say that I didn't fully appreciate Busses for what they were until I put a few of mine to use.

I understand where you're coming from on this 100%, but I'm not telling anyone to destroy a priceless possession or collection or anything.
