Boker knife problem.

Ive got a Boker Gemini (?? IIRC) knife that is probably 10 years old. I purchased it new and probably have used it for 8 years due to a problem with the safety. When pressure is applied to the knife the thing will actually close up, and one time I had it close up on my pinky finger at the joint. 5 stitches later it went back in the box, never did much with it since.

How does Boker do with knife warrenty? I would love to do something with it to either fix it, replace it, or something, but I dont need/wont use a knife that is going to potentially injur the user.

Boker has always done a fantastic job with my knives. I think you have to include money to have it sent back to you, IIRC, but they have always done well by me..

Their warranty program is outstanding:

"Every Boker product is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product to the original owner. If this item should fail under normal use, we will repair it or replace it at no charge with an item of equal or better value."

I've got to get my Boker back to get tuned up.. it hangs when you try to close it sometimes, and I'm sure a quick trip back will get it right back up and running..
