    ouch!

Don't ask me how I know but, I willing to bet the tip of that finger will have a bit of nerve damage, just like mine does.

Hate to hear that, hope ya heal up quick!

A few years back the spring return stroke on a bush trimmer got the end of my finger. Lost some feeling , but the best part was driving 90 miles home with "that" finger up. It was on my left hand too. They told me to keep it elevated. Luckily it was bandaged..lol..

    Got some looks though..

I put a drill thru one of my fingers (with the help of an inept co-worker)
    I don't recommend it.

Damned zipties. I sliced the end of my middle finger on my left hand off about three weeks ago trying to cut one off a bundle of CAT 5e cable.

The whole time I'm thinking "careful, don't cut yourself"! Sucker was still bleeding three days later.

    Won't do that again.

Sorry you got cut. I hardly go to the Dr anymore for stitches. If I can get it closed myself that is. 1 trip to the ER was my last.

I have had really good luck with the super glue designed for skin.

I keep one of these around.

Delasco: High Viscosity Dermabond® Topical Skin Adhesive

Do you buy them from Delasco or another place? I assume the pen is multi-use where as the vial is single? I'm tired of the ER too.

Thankfully I haven't cut myself bad enough to need stitches in awhile. I had a razor blade snap and fly back at me when trying to cut a zip tie. I used side cutters from that point on.
