I've had my eye on a BK-9 for some time now. I've been looking at that and the Esee Junglas. I already have an esee 4 and izula 2, as well as a bk-2 so I know both companies put out quality products. I just wanted to know what kind of experience you fine folks have had with either or both of these blades. Thanks in advance.

I have both and they are both great performers. The Junglas is a little longer and is a good chopper. It feels like a short and stout machete. The BK9 chops great too, but I would describe it as feeling more like a large knife than a machete. Either one will serve you well. Try to hold each one and get a feel for them before you buy. They feel different in your hand.
