Found this WC Kelly "perfect" jersey head for 9$ covered in rust. Took it home and cleaned it up now I just need to rehang it and it should be a good tool for what I have in mind. It dates 1904>1930 and interestingly enough the kelly company spent time in indiana manufacturing. They were also forged from two pieces to one using a softer steel for the rear and harder high carbon for the blade.

I had my eye on a small boys axe at the same store maybe I can get it and make a DIY restoration

I've used a couple of "boy scout" sized Hudson Bay's as my go to axe for many years. Presently, one lives in the truck, the other is waiting on a handle. I have a full sized axe looking for a rebuild too.
