    Anyone buy a Tomahawk?
Those from American Tomahawk look interesting.

    AMERICAN TOMAHAWK COMPANY

How do you carry/practice or what is your intended use?

    Comanche looks good.

Does had one count? I had this SOG Fusion. There was a defect in the handle(air bubble)and it broke VERY easily. The good news is they are sending a replacement.

    Yes I bought a Tomahawk.

I have a Fusion that I have beat the hell out of for about 2 years. I have not had the problem that smokingman has with his. :D

If I was going to purchase an ATC 'hawk. Scratch that when I purchase an ATC 'Hawk I will probally go with either the Lagana Tactical or the Emerson CQC-T. I really do not care for the Comanche myself.

I use a 'hawk mainly for a badass hatchet/mini axe. I do not throw them.

It also makes for a very effective defense tool...

I sorta collect unusual edged weapons, mainly as artifacts but there're some that I actually have a practical use for.

I presently have several assorted tomahawks/hand axes: A Cold Steel "Viet Nam" repro; a Cold Steel "Norse Hawk"; a Cold Steel "Rifleman's Hawk"; an A.G. Russell Roman-Style Hunter's Axe; an A.G. Russell Pipe Hawk; a Marble's Safety hatchet; two Gerber/Fiskars models, a Camp Axe and a Sport Axe; and Italian-made replicas of the ancient Frankish Franciska and single-bladed Saxon battle axe.

I'd give it a shot, but I'm not allowed to post attachments. I've asked the Admin why, but never received a reply. Sorry.

Man, I was just about to buy one of these - that could have been a bloody mess!
Most that I know that have them have had 0 problems. And they are guaranteed. I know people that throw them and they have never broken...i just had bad luck. And they are replacing it.

Are you getting a whole new 'hawk?

And if so did you have to send the broke one back...
