    Hey

I was looking at ZT knives and they look cool. BUT I noticed that on the cabelas website they are listed with KERSHAW. I googled it and they have the same parent company

    Are they the same knives?

    Thoughts?

    Opinions?

    Same parent company (KAI).

Not the same knives. Kershaw has some good stuff, but they're not in the same league as the ZT knives.

In your expert opinion, do they feel any different slicing through flesh? :D

    I'm glad you asked!

Believe it or not, I have not (yet) cut myself with either a ZT or a Kershaw. I will say that how they cut steak depends on how thin the edge is and how toothy the edge. For the KAI brands, I've only cut steak with a Kershaw Launch 1, a ZT0200, a ZT0301, a ZT0561, and a ZT0560. No complaints!
