I'm looking to purchase a good kitchen knife. Thinking maybe Japanese Gyuto style . Any good info on this style or where to get me one? Hopefully in the $100 range.
    Thanks

There are many areas to find a good Gyuto. It really depends if you are looking for a true Japanese Gyuto or a good copy.
If you are looking for a True Gyuto, the best place to find a great selection is: https://www.japaneseknifeimports.com/collections/gyuto/100-250

Here are a few that I have used over the years that will also fit your needs.
    1)https://www.amazon.com/Tojiro-2-pie...UTF8&qid=1501329541&sr=8-5&keywords=tojiro+dp
    2)Fujiwara FKH Carbon Series
3)ChefKnivesToGo.com: Online Japanese Kitchen Knives with Free Shipping

Another good site just to look around - ChefKnivesToGo.com: Online Japanese Kitchen Knives with Free Shipping

If you are willing to step up another $50 or so, you will be able to have a better selection with better blade steels.
My two favorite knives I use in a professional kitchen now is the Shun and the MAC. They are quality steels and take a work load.
    I hope this helps,
