Had Dr appointment.and then had a school function with a hour to kill.I try to hit Goodwill every once in a while.Today,I had a good day.I never pass up on good kitchen knives.Today I got a old Japanese butcher set called Chef's Collection,I will clean em,sharpen them and maybe they will be ok,a few assorted mini japanese cleavers,Tramontina bread knife and steak knife,3 Flint Vanadium steak knifes in mint condition that I will turn into paring knifes :yesway:and a like new German Dreizack Trident steel (I think pre Wusthof):yesway::yesway:.19 mixed at .29 each for a grand total of $5.70.Me happy.I will now be only one short to almost complete my Flint collection from the 40's or 50'sI will work, and sharpen the best ones and give them away.

I do have to say that if there is a homeless or a bum problem in the immediate area, they will not sell knives.I try to frequent the stores in the better neighborhoods.
