Knife or Death

I watched it last night...

1. The show title is dumb
2. The commentary is boring and unnecessary.
3. The third guy (Travis?) is really annoying and his role makes no sense. You're going to beat the snot out of your blade, so let's have a guy take a couple swings before you start. Really?
4. I don't see this series lasting long.

However, it was fun to watch different types of blades compete in the same course. The testing is pretty brutal, and I was surprised the katana didn't do as well as I thought it would.

What style blade do you think would work well? I'm thinking a Kukri...

I made the mistake of watching a few minutes while flipping channels. Fat guys waddling around with big knives thinking they are studs because they cut something. I like forged in fire, but this knife or death show just looks dumb to me. I guess husky dudes chopping stuff with knives is becoming a thing, but I only have so much time in my life before I die and I'm not loosing any more of it watching that.
