I've got a few bayonets that I've been picking up here and there and a buddy traded me a couple more last night. Problem is I'm not very knowledgeable about bayonets and need to clear out a few things to make way for a new over-under. What do I have here?

    1. Matching German AGV 44 (Berg & Co. 1944?) whats the little "a" looking symbol and the two words stamped at the end stand for? Where they all blued? What model is it?

    2. Japanese (National Denki?) Type 30? Appears to have been sharpened but the grips don't look original

    3. From top to bottom
    Turkish shortened German Ersatz?
Chilean M1912 (two of them, I think)
    VZ-23

INGO, do you have anymore info for me?

Have you seen how crude some of the Jap last ditch rifles were? Maybe that's a "last ditch" bayonet. They were in such a hurry to turn them out that they didn't spend a lot of time on them. Looks like you've got a couple of nice German bayonets. I have 2. Mine have the bakelite handles and the blades are blued on mine as well.
