    The guys make some excellent points about inexpensive knives and that they do have value and in some cases are treasures. I'm guilty of knife shaming in the past, although I don't do it anymore (except as a joke to tease buddies) and I won't do it again. We need to encourage everyone who has a positive interest in knives, whether or not they agree with us on style or materials or value.

    Every knife could be someone's first knife. You have to start somewhere.
    Every knife could be invaluable to someone because of its history or from whom they received it.
    Every knife meets the needs of someone.
