I bought my second hand made knife today at the local gun show I picked up another handmade knife, all I can say is wow! This guy is the reason I only take a hundred to gun shows! Cause if I took a grand all I’d do is buy his knives!

Hes a maker out of Newburgh Indiana and seams like a hell of a guy he told me if you want to come by the shop just let me know and bring your dull knives I’ll sharpen them for free! Now that my Saturday’s are free I might just take the shop tour!

michael d Smith is the maker, all I can say is wow!

Those look pretty good. What Steel is he using?

im not sure I never thought to ask, I’ll ask at the next gun show in a few weeks, the only thing he doesn’t do is the heat treat, that he has someone else do

That is one sweet looking knife. Does he have a website?

ive looked for a Facebook or website and I can’t find anything, but I have his phone number and he sets up at the Evansville area gun shows
