I don’t have one, but it looks like a nice design. My first thought is that for $160 I’d probably be looking at a more established maker, and it wouldn’t be D2 steel.

    Can I ask why?

    Rust resistance? Ease of sharpening?

Rust resistance is my only real hang-up with D2. The other reason is simply a personal opinion that for $160 I could be getting a much more premium steel. These days, $30 budget folders can be had in D2. Nothing against it beyond the rust potential, but I want something better for $160.

    Gotcha.

I have several D2 knives... And only 1 of them has had any rust issues (a Kershaw JYD II). They're all stored and treated the same - but only 1 has had issues.
