Cant put my finger on it but something looks wrong there. My best advice would be if something feels wrong avoid it. Trust your gut.

Maybe they changed the screw patterns at some point, but those don't match every other UTX-85 D\E.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=utx...ECAwQBA&biw=1487&bih=886#imgrc=Q2ZqJI87q-8MlM

The Date code isn't visible, so I can't tell how old it is. But, the screws are their newer triangle style.

And the tail doesn't match the current design.

The serrations look too deep & not the right profile.

And I haven't found one image of a legit one where the claw logo is on the clip.

And the seller can't even spell "Microtech" correctly.

    Caveat Emptor.

These things scream no no. ^^^^^^
    Looks like a knockoff.
The old tail mixed with new screws... Nah. The "engraving" on the blade looks like it's printed on in the picture too.

Here’s the date code and serial:

    04/16 #00780

Here's a video that came out four months before that knife.

    Counterfeit.

It is possible that the seller was duped in a trade, so I'd let them know.

Then flag the heck out that ad.

It looks more like an older Ultratech, but clearly labeled a UTX-85, which it's not.
