Field Sharpen any Knife with a Leatherman

I have often wondered if one could get away with this. As a long time EDC Charge Ti carrier, this looks like a good emergency field sharpener for my fixed blade "pocket knives."

I like this gent's technique, but field expedient way to hold and keep the file at the right angle would be helpful for this clumsy feller.

What's earth shattering about using a file to sharpen a blade? Or, am I missing something?
