    You are absolutely right. My brothers agreed to let me keep some things that meant more to me than any amount of money.
    I have his entire knife collection and I will pass it to my son someday.

    Awesome. My father saved and collected NOTHING. So, when he passes I will have no material items to remember him by, except maybe a hammer or screwdriver(if his new wife will let me have them).

    Yes he had some really nice older case and Buck knives that I have now.
    I also brought home his old mint Savage model 6a 22lr. It was my grandpa's gun and I learned how to squirrel hunt with it when I was in grade school.
