    I would think the tiny handle on that paring knife would be hard to use for any length of time...my hand cramps just thinking about it...

    However the price wouldn't bother me if they were of high quality...I have about that much in my good kitchen knives...these were made for me by Ichimonji-Kichikuni in Sakai Japan. I also have a good selection of Warthers and Old Hickory in carbon steel and normally use Moras for paring knives.

    The designer apparently won a design contest for design, not quality or function. If the "form follows function" axiom applies I doubt they we be very functional for extended use. Another "overprice" designer item to impress friends and clients.
