Can the language filter be adjusted to not modify links?

    My favorite censoring irritation is you can't link to a financial news website "market watch" because if you remove the space there is a "naughty" word in the middle and it will censor it out. See: www.marke****ch.com

    You also can't discuss your favorite time keeping device on your arm, the wris****ch. Also out of bounds is glacial runoff, mel****er.

    I tried an experiment to type in a different label for the link and paste the actual link (in this case BBI's 'market watch') into the box. It seems to me that the obvious solution would be to modify the scope of the language filter to prevent it from modifying the link text which is not displayed in the post. Can this be done?

    I personally think the salt-water censor is hilarious.

    As someone who can cuss in 3 languages (4 if you count soccer-field Spanish), the nature of curse words is fascinating from a language perspective. Automating the censorship of it almost seems like an exercise in futility.
