I am a brand new member from Michigan and I would like to know why my one and only post, introducing myself to the forum was closed after being open only 4 days!!! What gives?? I see nothing in the rules that tells me why. Is this the way you treat new members?

    Thans!:(

Intro threads are all closed after a few days. This is standard housekeeping procedure so there aren't thousands of open threads mods have to keep tabs on.

    Welcome to INGO.

We leave the intro thread open for 24 hrs. After that we close that thread and you can branch out into the forum.

You might want to relax a bit.....:):

    Welcome to INGO Thans.

Being a NOOB isn't a bad thing unless you're making a run to 50 posts to be disappointed in the classifieds.
Many of us know each other so well that "anything goes".
Some of us can't stand each other in idealism or print.
    Many members make me cringe.
OLD Mods with the Almighty Ban Hammer will leave you bloody and bruised unless you have thick skin.
    Sounds like fun eh?

Have you heard about the 50 post rule? Some people get really worked up about that. Don't blow it all on the greeting thread. :):

You are on the right track with starting new threads, but your content might need to be adjusted. I suggest using the edit feature to remove your last sentence.

My Grandpa always said something about making a good first impression.

Oh and welcome to INGO since I didn't get to do so in your first post.

Well if that's the rules, I got no choice. Of all of the forums I post on, this is the first one with that rule!!!
