I am placing this here for everyone to see immediately.

    I attempted to view "ingunowners".
After a minutes i received this flash alert and it blocked my screen.

"GAH" "your tab just crashed" "we can help"

    I rebooted firefox several times.
I could view other web sites OK.
Again when I went on "ingunowners".
    I incountered the same problem.
I went into my computer "APP".
    I scanned my installed programs.
    I found my McAfee missing.
    I found "SEGURAZO" ANTIVIRUS INSTALLED.
IT TOOK THREE ATTEMPTED TO UNINSTALL.

I had to go to ATT help desk for help installing McAfee again.

Possible a hostile drive by ad, but not ingo itself.

Dude, have you considered buying a Mac? Those things are MUCH less high maintenance for novices.

On a different forum I was on a few times a year a user would post , all indignant, about ads appearing on the forum pages. Would go into great detail how offensive these ads were. Was shocked to learn the ads were based on Google and were placed on his forum pages because someone had visited a place that made Google serve up that type of ad. LOL

I am pretty sure it is not Ingunowner that is infected.....

    That may be a fact.
BUT it only appeared today and only when I attempted to view tweets here.
Now that I have McAfee back installed.
I will comment later after more viewing websites.

If you don't already, you should be using Ad Block Plus, and Ghostery. Should block 99.9% of any ads or bad mojo. Consider an Antivirus other than old hat McAfee, or Norton.

Also, ponying up the cash as a site supporter also gets rid of almost all ads. (the intrusive ones anyway)

Assuming it WAS a hostile ad, you wouldnt have seen it in the first place if you were a site supporter.

Or better yet, save yourself a butt ton of cash and buy a chrome book instead. Several years ago my mom laptop died. When she asked me for advice in what to buy next. I pointed her to a Chromebook. She has never had a problem with it, and absolutely loves it.
