Earlier today I had a random private message from someone named Beretta God referencing my want ad, telling me to email someone else in Kansas. It was a single sentence message and had no context. The user has only been a member here for a few days and has zero posts. I reported him but see he's still active on the site.

Also today, and before I saw the PM, I was on another gun forum and they were talking about the same PM message but with a different state and email address. I don't post a lot of "WTB" ads so maybe this is common practice, but figured I'd give folks here a heads up just in case.

He is permabanned. The discussion was in the shooter thread earlier.

Yeah. It's taken care of. He ran a bunch of one liners about 5:00 this morning and got a few over 50. He was clipped of all his posts and somehow a glitch kept his PM's active. He was PMing members with WTB ads directing them to the place you mentioned. Several members reported the PMs and he was given the ban hammer.

And yes, you can report PMs if need be.

    Closing this now.
