I occasionally hear someone mention about giving someone a "rep" or hear them say they can't give another "rep" b/c they have given too many.
I have looked & can't find anything written about the parameters of "rep."
I asked someone privately (not wanting to appear ignorant
) about it & was told that it was the "star" button at the bottom of a post & was akin to a "like" on Facebook.
I like the concept & often I use a "
" to convey the same, but thought I'd ask where to read about this so I could do it correctly.
