Why on earth can I not respond to a PM?

If the site won't let me respond to a PM, then why does it even allow one to be sent to me? This is just plain wrong.

Belay that - It finally worked and that message about I couldn't reply until I had 50 messages and I only had 49 - went away.

All you need is 50 posts. You should be able to send them. You only need 10 posts to receive PM's.

Real world problems people. If you have an issue then PM a staff member and we will assist you. Crying in them open is not going to get you any help quickly.
This is a free site. Things run as they do. Stop griping and seek help directly with a Mod. Anybody with any number of posts can send a PM to staff.
