Popups

Maybe be old subject but recently when opening forums on iPhone (safari) that I get unwanted popups. If I open with brave instead, no popups.

any gurus that can tell an old geezer how to fix????

And I also have “block ups” checked for safari

Brave has a lot strong protections built in than Safari does. I use only brave on all my i-devices and mac desktops. You have download some add-ons for safari that will increase it's blocking power, but they are pretty weak by default, even with the "block pop-ups" turned on.

I use Safari on my I-Phone and get no pop ups unless I am not logged in.
Logged in it is clear sailing.
No ad blockers.
