I am bumping this for others to view even though there was just a Gun Show this past weekend in Lafayette at another location. This has been an established show for years now.

Yeah, I like to walk around this one. Usually it isn't very crowded and you can get around and see everything. I wonder if that will be the case this time?

I attended the one this past weekend, it was pretty lame, IMO. Inventories were pretty low.

I would go to this one before I would attend the 1500. Not as big, but free parking, $5 admission, easy to walk around.

Of course, I may be biased since I live here.:)

I like this show better than the one last weekend put on by gunslinger.

    Kirk, why a flashlight?

I'm going to head over around 10. Have a moderate list of little things I am looking for.

    Though if I could find a 586/686 and/or a 10/22 reasonable, I may take home a larger item.:)

Leave the "my light is a weapon *flexing*" bulls**t in the gear section at INGO as:

    1. Your light is not a weapon.

    2. You need your light to see stuff show you do not violate Rule #4.

Just got back. Thanks Kirk on the flashlight tip. It was kind of dark in there.

Bought some powder and primers. Considered a 10/22 for $229 but now I am thinking if I am going to change the barrel, stock and trigger group, maybe I should just build one? I mean is receiver and bolt worth $229?

Ammo is still high(no surprise), and a lot of non-firearm vendors there.

Was still worth going for an hour and a half. Gives me some ideas of what to ask for my M44 Mosin when I put it up for sale.

Bought a bunch of .22 mag for a great deal for the "new normal" prices.

Bought some .38s from my buddy from Central Illinois.

    Bought some non-corrossive Porto 7.92X57mm.

Yet another Lafayette show where my fellow residents do not bring their guns. What's up with that, Lafayette?:dunno:

You guys just show up to buy? Geez, how can we get deals if no one is selling?:D

Just missed a pre-safety Marlin 39. Broke my heart but rules of the road say I am the loser.

See you guys in Indy next month!:ingo:
