I tried that, but the wood collect bullet frag, and will cut your hands when you move it.I hung a 12" Round Bobcat Steel from a wood sawhorse and a couple of threaded hooks. Easy to move around and doesn't take up much room in the garage. Easy to fix too if you're a lousy shot like me.

I switched it up to the metal saw horses and love them.
Haven't been to Bobcat Steel but I found Profire last week and visited their shop and they had plenty in stock. Even solid and spring bases.
Good to know, I didn't know they stocked them.
