The real benefit of Duracoat is the ability to do the work yourself. If you are sending it out to have it done professionally, don't limit yourself to just Duracoat. I don't know if you can do multicam in Cerakote like you can with Duracoat, but if you can, you'll be open to more vendors by adding that to the list of options. AllenM does Cerakote and might be able to provide info on whether the multicam patterns are available with it.
AllenM has Ceracoated a few of my guns. I had duracoat on 2 1911's and it sucked. Worthless. Krylon would have been better.
Give Allen a shot. You will not be disappointed.
Allen is a craftsman.. I can't describe how ugly this 34 was before he Cerakoated it. Any flaws you see in the pic are flaws there were beyond his magic.
