How many of you guys are going to the 1500 next weekend. Any ideas on how we might be able to get the word out about this site at that event?

We'll be there, the lady and I. A booth is probibly the best way. Or you could stand at the door with some kind of flyer.

I would consider going to the Indy1500 this weekend. I didn't realize it was coming up again so soon.

Maybe Shirts/Hats while walking around? A Banner on the wall?
PM me if you're interested in the latter.

    Quickly print T-shirts or Hats?

I'll be there at least once.

Seriously, a big honking stack of business cards with the logo would go a long way.
If you'd get them out to the promoters and vendors first thing Friday, they could access the site in their down time. Might be some of them would be helpful in getting out the word.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. For some of my other sites I have made stickers and passed them out at events. It's too late to get that done so maybe my best bet is flyers or business cards to pas out. Adding the logo would probably jack up the price on business cards.

    Maybe just

IndianaGunOwners.com and then some tag line

I'm actually subletting a table, this is my first time and the location is pretty good. When you first get into the show and are standing next to the table where they are clearing the weapons, I'll be set up at a table at your 11:00, just inside the room. The Gentleman I'm setting up with usually has a M60 or M2 sitting on his tables, he deals mostly with CL III firearms. I'll have a handful of pistols on my table and rifle on a tripod. Hope to meet some of you guys there!

What's the average going rate for an AR-15 clone at the Indy 1500?
I remember reading somewhere that the 1500 is pretty much a waste, EXCEPT for purchasing an AR.

    Thanks in advance.

I've never bought an AR at the 1500, but I know several guys who bought an AR at the last 1500 for $750 out-the-door. I do NOT know if that was for a top end gun, or a basic "go bang" model.

you would be better off building one with parts you buy from the show. much cheaper and better parts
