If I recall they had some issues with the hosting company before, and had recently been the victims of a DDoS attack. This may have prompted the move.

Hopefully they fixed whatever problem they were having. Any time in the last few months I've tried to read an article on that site it completely locked my phone up.

Love the content, hate the tech behind it.... dos attacks, malware in the adcontent, weird flash issues locking up browsers, etc.

I've stopped visiting for all the tech problems they have, too bad, it's a great blog.

Glad to see it's still there, even if the site is still clunky, as Lizer points out.
They also have problems with spammers, something that could be eliminated with Captcha or something similar to stop the spambots.

Their host is so worthless but the site is great. I also was unable to get on last night and it gave me the same message it gave when they had the ddos attack, but it works fine for me now. Minor hiccup I guess.
