As well it should be. It's the legally based logical outcome.

Going to get hard for them to explain how they're spending the money people donate to them...when the cases don't even make it out of the chute, eh?

It would have to be very satisfying to be a pro-2A attorney, win the case, and also know that your fees end up actually being paid by anti-gunners.

Thanks to the Reagan administration and the McClure-Volkmer Act, we can buy ammo online or mail order.
It was undoubtedly this act upon which this good judge based his summary dismissal of the Brady anti-constitutionalists.
Yes, youngsters, before the 1980s, you were required to go to brick-and-mortar establishments for ammo and even reloading components.

"In addition to dismissing the case, the judge found that the plaintiffs owe the companies they attempted to harass an award of “reasonable attorney fees.”

KLB, you hit the nail directly on the head with that! Make 'em pay for their frivolous suits and they may begin to understand ............when their well runs dry!

And if that happened more often, you would see a steep reduction in these type of frivolous lawsuits.

    FTA:
Brady’s attorneys simply had no viable case against the legal protections under federal law as provided by the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA), which prevents harassment and frivolous lawsuits from gun control cultists.

In addition to dismissing the case, the judge found that the plaintiffs owe the companies they attempted to harass an award of “reasonable attorney fees.”

What kind of idiot lawyers must the utterly irrelevant have, not to see that one coming?

Hitting the antis where it hurts the most: their pocketbooks.

I'm glad that organization exists. Should take on cases like this for free anytime this happens.. And the money they get for lawyer fees goes back into the pot. Frivolous lawsuits like this should be illegal, but I guess the next best thing is making them pay for the defense.

Has the shooter or his therapist been sued yet? Or his family, I'm sure they were at least as culpable as the vendors named...

Or the theater, for having a "gun free" policy?

People that donate to these organizations live in the clouds anyway. Those haven't noticed yet that their money is being thrown away.

Their lawyers are not necessarily idiots. Just getting to a trial would bring them untold amounts of free advertising.
