Generally speaking and please don't give out your address - but where do you keep your safe?

    Attic?
    Basement?
    Bedroom?
    Spare Bedroom?
    In Plain Sight?
    Garage?

    Yup!

That's kind of like asking a lady her age son. It just ain't done...

so that answers the question - it aint in plain sight...

Im walking my house looking for a place to put it and drawing blanks so was trying to get a feel for other off the wall places I could put it..

Garage seemed stilly since it has the easiest door to penetrate..
    attic seemed too hot..

spare bedroom closet might work, but its clear on the wrong side of the house...

This is always an issue. I down sized mine 3 years ago much to the wifes pleasure. She got some space back. Not much but some.

Where ever you put it secure it. Lag it down

Out of sight-out of mind is always a good thing.
Be sure to anchor it no matter where you put it.
Many entire safes have turned up just gone.

Maybe multiple safes, in different locations?

I keep my safe wrapped around most of my favorite guns. Some stay within reach just because they should stay within reach.

My house is one story without a basement, so the safe is in one of the bedrooms that we use as a home office. If I had a basement, it would be down there.

Why this hesitation from everyone to share? Your membership on a gun forum tells the world that you likely have guns in your home. Safes are really difficult to hide, and anyone who searched my home would certainly find it in less than two minutes. Why does the location within the house need to be a secret?
