I know I can't deer hunt with .223 here in Indiana. With the recent changes, can I hunt with 300 blackout?

No rifle, no SBR, but a pistol is OK

They were talking about it but it didn't go through. I remember hearing from a guy who worked at some gun store telling another person to buy a different rifle because they had already made the changes it just wasn't made public.
