They know very well that it depends on how they phrase the question, even if the polling itself is fairly scientific.

I find that hard to believe in Indiana. I was just noticing today on the north side of Indianapolis how many NRA stickers I am seeing.

So, in the face of this "supermajority" Indiana has

    1. a Republican House,
    2. a Republican Senate,
    3 and a Republican Gov.
    4. A supermajority of those in the General Assembly are NRA A rated, including Democrats.
    5. We have a Gov. who openly speaks in favor the RKBA even though he is up for re-election in 2016.
    6. We have enacted total preemption.
    7. We have enacted Lifetime Carry licenses.
    8. We have abolished the ban on suppressors for hunting.
    9. We have abolished the prohibition on short-barreled shotguns.
    10. We have guns in trunks in school property, plus many other pro-gun reforms.

The poll is manipulated. It is a lie.

If it is not, we are kicking their ass despite a supermajority being against those above cited reforms. In the future, we shall really tear them a new one!

Until WISH/BSU provides the survey details, like sample size, demographics of of the sample size, margin of error, etc, I don't believe it.

Hush, you. We are always losing, always having our rights eroded, it's never as good as it was when we had onions tied to our belt. And a DEMOCRAT who's A rated by the NRA? I suppose we've reintroduced mating pairs of unicorns into the Hoosier National Forest, too, eh, Mr. Fancy Pants Medium Sized City Lawyer?

    Media polls. Heh.

It was not a WISH-TV poll. It was a scientific survey.

I don't doubt that a university is going to take methodology of data collection in to consideration. The scrutiny on that is fairly simplistic. That doesn't mean they don't selectively phrase questions.

The article says "The poll is conducted by telephone, where 360 landline calls and 240 cell phone calls were made. The margin of error is 5.2%."

I want to know where they found 360 landlines in this day and age. A total of 600 calls? How statically valid is that for application statewide?

Hogwash... Not that I really care. There will never be any more gun control than we have right now within a three foot radius of my functioning central nervous system. And I know a hell of a lot of people who feel exactly the same way.

I wonder how many of those calls were actually answered. Personally I never answer a call if caller ID doesn't show someone I know.

Let's see, 360 landline calls of which one person answered and said they favor gun control, and nobody with a cell phone answered, but 600 calls were made.
