Whew! My wife, upon reading this, will be glad I don't watch Fox News much or my safe would be crammed full of new guns by now.

I hate to throw a wrench in the works and question their theory, but I want to buy guns even after watching MSNBC or even Katie Couric. No right-leaning stimuli is required.

    .
When leadership says they won't take your guns, and that a strong second amendment is part of the constitution, so we need to pass these common sense gun restrictions, I'm always reminded of 1984. You figure that someday the mask will drop like O'Brien with Winston Smith and we'll see the lust of power, for power's sake alone.

Laurie Dhue told me to buy guns . . . so I did, repeatedly.

Well, maybe if gun control hadn't been pushed..

Anti's don't realize, if they had shut their mouths, and NOT pushed gun control, there would be LESS guns out than there is now.

TV really has no effect on me wanting to buy guns. It's all the liberals in general that keep hammering on control.

I don't know how they can single out Fox news since over the last 7 years, every major news source has talked about gun control. The only difference is that Fox says 'Look what those nimrods are wanting to do" and the others all say "We want to take away your guns". Obama is the world's leader in gun sales, but that will pale compared the the numbers of gun sales the hildabeast will drive towards.

But, this article should really not be a surprise. It's the standard tactic of a liberal to blame someone else for their failings.

exactly! They keep pushing their agenda, so all the people with common sense prepare for the worst. Why does that seem so strange to these people???

The idiot who wrote the article is a "professor" at a second rate school in New Jersey of all places which has some of the most draconian gun laws in the USA. The author could not get a straight story on guns even if someone spoon fed it to him. These "ivory tower" so called "inteligensia" are not connected to the real world because they operate in a parallel universe of liberal socialism thinking there should be no guns allowed despite there being a Second Amendment.

I feel dumber having read that article. Political Science professor (I know where FD is now, so I did get one thing out of it) who studies "political psychology" (sounds like something made up for people with useless majors) in a state where you can't legally possess hollow points. Published in a Brit publication and picked up by Newsweek (that was bought for $1 a while back). Blames a network for running fewer gun control stories than the ones who don't get watched nearly as much.

This is even better than when journalism majors try to do stats, that's a real hoot.
