Been to the range lately? Post some pics/videos of you and your shooting buddies. Targets, guns, group sizes, it don't matter. Post'em up and tell us about it.

To add to Bigtanker's videos.... We went to the range with our kids. Got some neat videos of them shooting.

This one is my favorite. My 6yr old daughter gets to fire her brother's bolt gun (.22) for the first time.

My 13 year old gets to shoot someone's M1 Garand (the owner of this gun wasn't with our group but he was very generous in letting my son shoot this)

Had a nice get together with a few friends on the 4th. It was a great way to celebrate our Independence day. 13581896_1030630303652618_2526746384882411850_o.jpg

With the kids on summer break, I've been able to take my 14yr old son to the range the last few Fridays. This is the first time he's fired any of my firearms. Found out he LOVES my Gen4 G19, very accurate with it. He does fine with my G43 but doesn't like it as much. This past Fri he was shooting my AR15 for the first time. Loved it as well. Will go back out this Friday with him. Likely shoot my G22 this time around.

Certainly not trying to hijack a thread here, but mind posting the ranges you guys are shooting at? I've been shopping around for a place to work with my older 2 kids on (11 and 13) outdoors, and have been struggling. We toured MCFG, and where very happy with it, other than the limit of 22LR on the rifle side. We've been up to the Winimac DNR (LOVED it there), but it's a 2 1/2 hour drive (we have family up there, we didn't actually drive up there just to see the range). Been looking for a place with about 1/2 hour of the East side of Indy, with at least 100 yards for rifles (22LR, .223 and 20 gauge). Any recommendations would be GREATLY appreciated. I would prefer a private club, and member fees within reason ($120 yearly) aren't an issue.

Marion County Fish & Game is just on the West side of Indy. Nice range.

Yeah, that's the one we toured last night. We where very impressed with the facility, but it's limited to 22LR only on the rifle side. I'm looking for a place that I can shoot the .223 as well.

Qualifying for work was the last time I went to the range. Can't complain about free range time and free ammo :rockwoot:

Nice idea for a thread. I'll start taking photos when at the range now, but in the mean time, here's a couple I shot late last month on range trips.

This was shot one morning when I was exercising CZs at MCFG. I was shooting a CZ 1911A1, a stainless 75B and a Dan Wesson CCO that morning.

I took this one while breaking in my P01 at MCFG.

Love seeing the pics of the kids being trained on firearms! What a great way to celebrate the 4th of July!

IndyJohn and I ran past our local indoor range to test fire my new pistol...learned a few things...1.) it does NOT like hand loads and 2.) IndyJohn seems to think it's his new pistol. LOL, I don't know how that happened! That would be a first for INGO right? "My hubby stole my pistol" thread??? Anyway, had a great time at the range. Didn't think to get pics but was nice to know I could still have a good grouping with my EDC.
