Anyone have a ruger Sr-762?

Just curious what the general consensus is. I don't hear a lot about it, which make me a little apprehensive, but all my other Rugers have been top notch....well except for when I need to clean my 22/45. The good, the bad, the ugly..any info you have would be appreciated.

Also wold love to hear any other piston 308 suggestions.

Does it have to be piston?
I hear the rugers are good, reliable, but heavy.
Dragunov? M1/M14/any garand style? FAL?

For gas guns, the newer gen of s&w ar10s get surprisingly good reviews, as do the 2nd gen DPMS guns.
I'd tell you to avoid remington R-25 (1st gen)
