    Some call it that because Senator Larry Hoopenstein was the guy behind the bill that was passed into law. His favorite color was pink. He was tragically killed by a kangaroo that had escaped from the Indianapolis zoo. Hence the nickname Larry.

    I worked in Senator Hoopenstein's office right up until his tragic passing. He was a true gentleman and an ardent supporter of the Second Amendment. His passing has left a void that has not been filled to this day.

    Senator Hoopenstein was a Great American and Hoosier. You are quite lucky to be able to have worked with Senator Hoopenstein.

    He is always missed.
