Let's say your sitting on the throne and you hear you door get kicked in. Most guy's and gals here would pull up their pants and draw from a holster. But what if it's your S/O who doesn't carry a gun while in the home? Now let's say your main bathroom also has a shower which is used everyday(lots of humidity). What would you stash in your bathroom? A zamak Hi-point? A Inox Beretta? Mossberg mariner? A SS Gold cup colt? Keltec in a ziplock? What say INGO?

On another note this guy I've bought many guns from, saved himself with a hidden bathroom gun.:ar15:

Nobody dares enter the bathroom when I'm sitting.
    Chamber of death!

    But seriously........

go with something of known reliability and take regular care and don't overthink it. Humidity isn't going to kill a gun you clean and put a thin coat of oil on once a month.

Me too been killing the wife after using ours for years, she walks in, grabs her nose, makes a gasping noise, and runs out saying that I am killing her.

Well having a young child in the home, I choose not to have loaded firearms that are accessible to her. But don't take that as I am defenseless. I would likely have my edk .... knife and hand gun with me. My wife has her edk ... handgun and knife with her. My father-in-law, has his edk on him in. Besides in my bedroom, only a few feet down the hall from the restroom are my kali sticks, machete, sai's, and other impact and cutting weapons. When I was single I had multiple weapons through out the home, but I choose to now have an edk that I am ready with.

You never know when you will need a weapon in the bathroom. This model seemed to work well.

-Your file shows no kills, and it takes--
    -Two.

Wrap the gun in a towel and place it in cabinet/closet. That's what I do whenever I am in the bathroom and taking a shower. However, I don't store a gun in the bathroom, because there are children in my house, so I just grab something outta my safe (If i'm not carrying of course).

Maybe put a Remington nylon 66 (I believe that was the model) in a gun rack in the shower? My MO is the same as ARfan

Have a spare .38 in a holster mounted inside the vanity. Can't see it if you open and casually peer inside, but easy enough to get to.

I carry all the time, but not ALL the time. When I get home I want to get casual in attire. Usually shorts and a tee. I do not sleep with a holstered gun on me. I have stash guns throughout for emergency type scenarios.

Just have a hard time believing that all these 24/7 carry people will grab the holster, strap it on and then go to take a pee at two in the morning. No problems if you do, but I am not in that crowd.

Mossberg 590 behind my door next to the toilet, honestly, need to replace with the shorty they came out with, since my bathroom is super close quarters :):

I keep my mint colt law man 357 on a magnet under the sink. I have guns stashed all over the house and in the barns. Always ready to go!
