Plus Boyt gun cases and Colt, S&W, & Winchester Knives. More than $10,000 (MSRP) of firearms to be given away.

    Here's How It Works:
Ticket nurnbers 1 - 300 are placed in canisters inside a large spinning hopper. All canisters look the same. These will be mixed well and we will draw for the least-expensive gun first, working up
the list to the one with the highest MSRP. If we draw your name, you have three options:·
    1. Take the gun and be out of the future drawings for the more valuable guns.
    2. Refuse the gun, and we draw another name and place your name back into the hopper for later drawings; or
    3. Take the gun and "buy back into" the drawing for another $100. This will also get you entered into a special raffle open only to those who "buy back into" the drawing. This drawing is for a Henry "Big Boy" .44 Mag lever action rifle.

All 300 ticket numbers will be entered into the drawing. All 25 guns will be given away, regardless of the number of tickets sold. Anyone not present in person or by proxy will receive the
gun for which their name is drawn. The Gunapalooza will be held on Saturday, May 13th, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Westside Sportsman's Club, Peerless Road, Evansville, Indiana, 47720.

There will also be an auction at 2 p.m. consisting of guns, reloading equipment, and accessories. Contact Brent Weil (812-453-0969) for tickets, or purchase from Rajo's Gunshop or Meek's Guns in Ft. Branch. Indiana Gaming License #0034.

Are the proceeds going toward anything specific?

as with all friends of the nra events, 1/2 of the proceeds go to the national nra to fight for gun rights, and the other 1/2 stays in indiana and is given back to non profit's like boy scouts, 4-h shooting, college shooting programs, we keep nothing!

To clarify, all the money goes to shooting sports development. Half stays in Indiana and half goes to national grants like, oh say, the Olympic shooting team.

Thanks for resurrecting this shootersix. I too have three raffle tickets left and will be in Indy this Saturday. I will be happy to meet someone for a FTF sale of tickets if need be.

Assuming only one entry, does that mean that you have a 1 in 12 chance of winning?

I'm trying to discern how the rules changes the odds in any appreciable way...

so the way to say it is this, if we sell all 300 tickets, when we draw the first ticket, you are 1 of 300 in the raffle, so 300 divided by 25 is 12, so on the first draw you have a 1 in 12 chance of being drawn, and by the time we've drawn for the last gun your odds drop to 1 in 276 chance of winning the grand prize (the Daniel defense ar and 1000 rounds of ammo)
