Outdoor range

I'm looking for a decent outdoor range. Indoor doesn't interest me and the Danville one isn't accepting new memberships.

Atterbury Shooting Complex has a very nice outdoor range. Might be more of a drive than you are looking for, but it is a great facility.

Hoosier Hills Rifle and Pistol Club

Probably an hour to hour and a half from you. 200 yard rifle range and a pistol bay. Plenty of steel.

I looked into Atterbury and between the reviews and the distance I don't think that's for us. Thanks though.

Is the south valley normally open of only god dorcusl events like this?

South valley is available to anyone who gets the premium membership. It does close periodically, but if you check the calendar before you go you'll be OK.

But South is typically used for our event due to its varied features and space. It is the largest space he has.

DNR's Deer Creek Range is south of Putnamville, but it has a Cloverdale address. Easily accessible from I-70 on SR-243.

Deer Creek Gun Range

It just opened this spring. I haven't been there, but I've heard good things about it.
