    Cash Freeman

    Great name.

He not only need to be a Freeman from this incident but given a stack of Cash for his trouble.

Uhhh.... I think the guy is safe from prosecution.

Intuitively it seems like it should be a cut-and-dry case. Just wondering why the DA office would even need time to think about it. I'm guessing the vagueness in the article is due to the way the article is written rather than the DA's office.

Blue lives matter did an article in it. I think it could have been a little better with the correct placement of the coma.

I spent 10+ years working for an OKC based company. Guy won't get charged, he is probably gonna be the Grand Marshall in the Fourth of July parade...

I thought sure I heard a Fox News reporter this morning say that the prosecutor in this case does not expect to file charges.
Thank God the neighbor was able to get there in time to save the infants.

There are a LOT of screwed up people in this world,
and people want to know why I want to carry a gun!

One source, "The Root", is asking if he should be punished.

    **** no.

    Agreed.

I am more into pistol whipping these sorts into complete submission.
A lot less paper work then parking a round in his left eye socket.
    And possibly more enjoyable.

Hitting one of the kids would be terrible.

    Justified yes

    Dangerous shot? Possibly.

Louisville Slugger with a home run swing works best for me.

Assuming that was just a figure of speech, given your long experience with guns...especially of the 1911 variety, but pistol-whipping is yet another Hollyweird bad idea.
It's too easy to destroy/disable your gun, leaving you with nothing but a blunt instrument.
Clobbering him with a ballbat or broomstick would certainly be okay, though.

    Could be anywhere
Once you move to physical contact you've given up any advantage or possibly reason to have brought the gun in the first place. :twocents:

This guy was already a known violent felon...probably know to be by the neighbor. He was committing murder and likely wouldn't have stopped with the babies. He received the sociopath treatment he needed.

The only thing I try to hit with my firearms are what I'm shooting at. As for going the Louisville Slugger route that first at bat better be a homerun a swing and a miss puts you into grapple mode with Mr Violent Felon.

Question....Have you ever actually used a 1911 for a bludgeon..??
I am not in any way trying to be a wise guy just curious.
I will neither confirm nor deny that I have direct knowledge of how to do this.

Just the clobbering part no matter what is used just seems so much more on track for this.
To end this douche nozzle and save the court fiasco is also pretty much a proper ending as well.
Hell just stomping him into the floor would work for me.
He was brandishing a knife so that had to be considered.

    Yup.....End him.

My heart aches for those babys. They will be damaged for years to come.
