Beautiful GCNM.
That idiot mark hurts a few hundred bucks. I have a couple of the older Colts but only one GCNM I had Vern Trester go through long ago.
I'm going to say in the neighborhood of $1,200 - $1,500 as it sits.
I do buy old Colt 1911s and IF I needed one that's what I'd expect to buy it for.
I'm guessing so take my opinion for what it is. Nothing more.
I'm sure there's more price savvy dealers on here.
I'm going to watch the thread.
Just had one in our store in mint condition. Sold It to a regular customer of ours for $1700.00. We both believed it to be unfired. We both walked away feeling like I gave him a good deal... I have seen others in similar condition and without box sell for about $1,700-$2,000 on Gunbroker closed auctions.
I guess the used 1958 was in "a" box and needed a heck of a lot more pictures. Looked like it had honest wear.
The 1967 Gold Cup is simply a collectors dream. 99% gun, test target, paperwork, lots of pictures. Gold Cups in that condition bring out the serious collectors.
