WLFI.com is reporting shots fired at approximately 6am Saturday morning in a parking lot near Teal Rd. and Sagamore Parkway in Lafayette.
When police arrived they found two dozen cartridges in three different calibers.
No people were reported injured, though several vehicles were hit.
    The investigation is ongoing.

I doubt this was an Ingo deal gone awry, and no one has reported a robbery attempt, so I'm guessing gangs and/or drugs...

24 shots, no one hit, POOR Gun Handling .....

    Safety, and all that .....

    Those bullets, went somewhere .....

    My first thoughts too.
I get a mental image of bangers ducking behind vehicles while periscoping their "fotay" above the hood and spraying away.

    Tippecanoe County
Remember when the kids in the neighborhood south of the fairgrounds were fighting in mobs during the county fair a few years back??

Those punks got a few years older, sold off some of their mommies drugs they swiped and bought some illegal firearms from their uncles or older brothers and have moved on to the big show.

Boy I'm so glad all this development in the Lafayette area has brought the right folks to our town. If I look hard, and I mean really hard, I can find the smallest hints of the town I grew up in.
