My son text me about that a couple hours ago. Glad a report found it and not a gang banger or little kid.

Kind of interesting in learning what his punishment will be.

    Could be anywhere
Bloody heck...I just flew out of SB today and had to do a quick mental check when I saw the title. Nope, not me, I know where my handgun is.

I'm interested in the rest of the story...maybe put in on the roof to get the doughnuts in and drove off...:stickpoke:

I'm guessing someone placed it on the roof of their car and needs to take my Remedial ****ting class to learn how to do #2, even in the woods, without unholstering.

That is SBPD issued ammo Federal 124gr HST rounds. I feel for the poor officer. Out of all the people in the world to find that, the worst two are a child and reporter.

    Worst case scenario: child reporter.

So I went out partying Saturday night we ended up in this strip club. This girl named "love" was really into me and after 5 shots of yeager I left with her in an "uber". That's the last I can recall has anyone seen my pistol?

Real life story I took a shower in the transition area in Kandahar Afghanistan hung my pistol on the hook outside the shower. Then went back to my bunk.
Hung out for about an hour slowly realized my pistol is not with me!
It was still on the hook outside the shower!
Dont worry I still had my grenades and M4!

Sounds like you should have received some sort of discipline for leaving your weapon unsecured and you obviously can't be trusted with firearms.

There for the grace of God go I.

Someone I know rather well left a Ruger MkII 22/45 on the bumper of SUV and then drove to get coffee before the range.

I nearly passed out walking around the vehicle.

I was in charge of myself at the time not part of a regular unit.
I turned myself into myself for futher action after careful consideration I sentenced myself to 8 more months in the Middle East.
Worst case one of the Canadians I was surrounded by could have found it that would have been hard to live down.
Nah they were just worried about what time "Tim Hortons" opened!
