It seems that several gun channels on YouTube have been shut down for 2 weeks as YouTube has given them 2nd strikes in the last couple of days. If they receive a 3rd strike, they will be shut down forever. As far as I have been able to find, these 2nd strikes are not even for bump stock videos. In Military Arms Channel's case, they gave him a strike for a political video, not a gun video!

I am not sure what video's caused the strike with others, but BigShooterist, Sootch00 and James Yeager all got 2nd strikes as well.

I don't know if there is anything we can do it stop it. I guess the anti-gun trolls are being more vocal than we are, so YouTube is listening to them. So all we can do is let YouTube know that we will not be back if they get rid of the gun channels. VSO has a instagram about it here...

Be noisy and let YouTube know you do not approve of random and arbitrary enforcement of community standards that are changed frequently and retroactively enforced.

    I guess Google forgot.....

Easy, we should all boycott Google. We don't support / patronize businesses that don't support the 2nd Amendment, so why would we continue to line their pockets? Use Bing or Yahoo next time you search.

Bing and yahoo suck. Build a better google. I'm disappointed but not surprised. Until something better comes along I'll continue to support both. I need my info and videos now. And when they came for me no one was left to speak for me. Oh well....

Youtube has been anti-gun since its inception.
They're just now feeling more empowered. I think it's a false sense of security on their part, but that's just my opinion.

Not much we can do about it besides vote with our dollars.
Youtube is a private company. They are free to adopt all the asinine rules and regulations they choose.
It's our choice to avail ourselves of the services they offer, or not...

Inrangetv now posts their videos over at bit chute.com. Bit chute has several other youtubers on it as well. It is 100% free speech and uncensored so there are blatantly racist and other videos on there that are questionable.

I've heard it floated already that things like Google and YouTube are approaching "utility" status. Not that I philosophically approve, but there's a part of me that would enjoy seeing them regulated by the overreaching government they no doubt support for its affects on others. :):

If you like your content and 1st amendment right, you can keep your content and 1st amendment right......Just not here

Except they are not a govt entity, so kind of doesn't apply. Their house, their rules.

    100% agreed.

Yeah, it would be a bit of bittersweet irony, but I'd rather not see anything like this. They are a commercial company, and I'd rather not have more govt over reach. If they want to proliferate the echo chamber, let them do it. Those that want to hear something besides the approved voices will go elsewhere.

Also, seems like a lot of these guys are on Full30 now. Any reason not to check them out over there? I just started checking out full30 a bit last night.

I use duckduckgo, they don't track your searches.

Absolutely. I only use DuckDuckGo on my phone and PC. Google, Bing (Microsoft) and Yahoo don't need to know what I like to buy or research. And they are companies that support things I disagree with. Why participate in their enrichment? I'm waiting for a good alternative to YouTube. They're disgusting, and it's unfortunate they have so much content I enjoy.

If you're a youtube member watch this video by sootch00, it tells you how to complain to youtube and raise a stink. I'm not surprised either but we should utilize all the tools we have to fight it! Like youtube or not it's the best option for content, full30.com is cool but the interface is lacking much.
