Pop ups at Camp Perry November the 11th

Report from Camp Perry, Ohio
The friends of camp Perry and Ohio State rifle and pistol association, held there annual pop up shoot otherwise known as the snowflake shoot.
A 40 shoot course of fire held on there modified combat range,life sized targets pop up out of the ground from 50 to 300 meters, you had 6 seconds to engage and shoot your target....easy to do if only one target pop up, but then 3 or more popped up things got fun.
My best was 34 out of 40 (lane 16 on the score sheet)









All thou the weather was cold with a wicked wind coming in off the lake , this was fun....hope to see ya there soon

Nice! One of these days Revere's Rider's &/or pifn will be doing one of those at Camp Atterbury.

Please let me know when ......I will bring my crew down.......this was our first time doing the pop ups.....I then went over to the covered building, and shot the John granard match......did better there,wow those CMP electronic targets are way to nice......

AHHHH YES! Camp Perry. Been there a few times during the Garand/Carbine matches. The location of the Super Bowl of shooting. Good times.
