I just got a chance to use my bore sight bullets.
Now I consider it the best $13.00 I spent.
I been spending a lot of time, money and aggravation attempting to adjust in my red dots and laser sights.
I put the laser into the chamber. Put the red dot on the wall.
ZOOM I adjusted the red dot and sight in.
I spent more in ammunition. I shoot a couple of rounds and then attempt to adjust.
Did I go the wrong way or to far. Shoot again and again adjust.
Right now Sportman's has a sale on them.
    $13.++ members, $17.++ nonmen.
I am waiting for them to get a 45 acp back in stock.

My first laser bore sight is a universal in muzzle type. It never got in close or as easy as the bullets.

At what distance can you see the laser? I've seen these a time or two and they were nowhere near bright enough to be seen in bright sun or at distances of 25+ yards even on overcast days. I'd written them off years ago as inadequate.

it's not going to get you zeroed all by itself it will get you on paper very easily.

Agree here wholeheartedly. My Bore Sight gets me close, but it is not perfect. Not sure if it is my specific unit, or if it is indicative of all Bore Sights. I have a 9mm version that I use for aligning sights on my pistols, and it seems to always be a bit to the right. When I first got it, I tried spinning it in the bore to see if it was just out of round, but it always seems to be off for me.

Never tried the lasers but I did have the Bushnell job that you insert in the muzzle. It holds a grid that you center your reticle on. I now have a Shoot-N-See dot on a bedroom wall. I set up a gun on a rest (about 50' away) so I can see the dot by looking through the bore then adjust the scope to the dot. Gets me as close as anything I can do indoors.

    My 9mm and 7.62 x 39 are red.
It is not bright enough to see outside during the day.
I am sure at night you can adjust against white paper at 50 ft.
Just like any sight. It is only perfect at exactly one distance.
But it was so quick and easy to aline.
I did mine in my basement at 50> ft.
It does not matter what the configuration you firearm is at or where the dot is located.
You just adjust one dot over the other.
