I just read an article on Guns America blog about the new(er) Kel-Tec KSG 25.
Its an extended version of their double mag tube pump shotgun, the KSG 13 I think, but this one is designed to meet European barrel length restrictions.

It has a 30" barrel, and will hold 25 rounds (a whole box!) of 2-3/4" shells, or 41 Aguila mini-shells.
41 rounds of 12ga is astounding.
Fully loaded, it weighs over 10 lbs, and with that 30" barrel, it's not likely to be dragged through the woods much around these parts,

    One more thing.
The price(y) tag will keep me from buying one.
    Something around $1100.

    I might consider a KSG 13.
On second thought, I'll stick with my Mossberg 500.

I can't imagine how front heavy that thing has got to be. I also tend to shy away from KelTec. Something about there being nothing between my cheek and an exploding shot shell than a little bit of plastic just doesn't inspire confidence in me. To each their own though.

Plastic barrels now? What a country!

    .
Long barrels make for a lot of cartridges, I have a long barreled Winchester 1873 that holds 17 44-40s in the mag, old west assault rifle.

I can't remember how many shells the Atchisson shotgun held in it's drum mag back in the 8os, seems like it was 20.

Protip. Take a box(25) of shotgun shells. Hold them at arms length for 60 seconds. That is what its like to hold one of these beasts.

There really can be too much of a good thing. :):
