Description​

The LaGrange County 500 Gun Show will be held next on Dec 15th-16th, 2017 with additional shows on Feb 9th-11th, 2018, and Nov 30th-Dec 2nd, 2018 in Shipshewana, IN. This Shipshewana gun show is held at Michiana Event Center and hosted by Gun Slinger Promotions USA. All federal, state and local firearm ordinances and laws must be obeyed.

How is this show usually? I have never been and would like to check it out this weekend. What I really want to know is there a little something for everyone, some new stuff and older stuff?

Can't judge since this is a 'new' show. It is a combination of the old Gunslingers Shipshewana show and the former Lagrange show in a new MEC center building.

Shipshe built a new event center for big events, horse sales and concerts.

I'm guessing it will be better than the horse barn it used to be in.
If they are planning to bring in some of the big name entertainers that I have heard they want, it has got to be a really nice facility.
They can have rodeos in there, so it has to be big.
Shipshe sounds like they want to be the Amish Bronson MO.

The former Shipshewana show was on Sunday also (the Lagrange was Fri/Sat). Next years scheduled new Lagrange shows will be on Sunday also.

I look forward to seeing the new place Saturday. I never went on Sundays to the shows up there, but heard that some vendors didn't show up. At least for the show at the museum, tat was the one we always liked to attend.

The Sunday show is by a different promoter, cpi. At the event center.

Wow. It was one huge show. Lots of guns there. A lot of fancy ones.

No big vendors and a lot of Mary kay and gutter systems. The CPI show at the end of the month is usually better but very crowded. I did like the facility. If someone crop dusted me I had room to run away.

I was talking to one of the private collection vendors. He said that the facility would be able to hold 1400 tables if they can grow this show.
